Storyteller. Documentarian. Video Producer.
Hi and welcome to my website.
As a creative video storyteller, I’m inspired to work with a team of passionate people who truly desire to only put out the best product. I’m naturally curious and I love reading and learning about the latest video technology and marketing trends. Those attributes have resulted in allowing me to gain a number of skills working in many areas other than video producing, such as cinematography, editing, color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
I found my passion for cinematography and film while pursuing my bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas. This passion lead to my pursuing and achieving a Master of Fine Arts degree. The documentary films I have directed and produced explore social issues including those encountered by minorities, immigrants, the disabled, and the elderly who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. I have also directed and produced several video recordings for the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band.
I’m currently Director of Multimedia at the University of Texas at Arlington producing and juggling multiple video projects at any given time. I utilize all of my acquired skills as I continue to work to be a better communicator and liaison between different team members.
My films have received awards and have been screened at festivals including the Broadcast Education Association, the Texas Black Film Festival, the Dallas International Film Festival, the Thin Line Film Fest, the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival, and the Mammoth Film Festival. I’ve also worked as a camerawoman on other documentary films around the United States and other parts of the world.
I’d love to hear from you with questions about my work, or simply to chat about new ideas and new ways to tell stories.
Thanks for visiting my site.
